Your app's address: https://<your-community>.tibova.my. Your community management will tell you the exact address.
1. Activate your account
If management sent you a WhatsApp invitation
- Tap the link in the invitation. It is valid for 7 days.
- Confirm your phone number with the OTP code we send. The code is valid for 10 minutes.
- Check your unit details, create a password and give your privacy consent.
- Complete your profile: vehicles, household members, language and delivery settings.
If you have no invitation
On the sign-in screen, choose to claim your unit. Fill in your unit details and confirm your phone number. Your account shows "Waiting for management confirmation" until management approves it.
Signing in: once your account is active, sign in with your phone number and password.
2. Install it on your phone
Tibova is a web app. There is nothing to download from the Play Store or the App Store.
- Android (Chrome): open the app's address, tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
- iPhone (Safari): open the app's address, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
The Tibova icon appears on your home screen like any other app.
3. The home screen
The bottom bar: Home, Notifications, QR Code and Profile.
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Pre-Register Visitor | Create an entry pass for a visitor. |
| SOS Emergency | Send an emergency alert. |
| Latest Notices | Announcements from management. |
| Complaints & Suggestions | Report a fault or make a suggestion. |
| Bills & Payment | See and pay your bills. |
| Facility Booking | Book the hall, the courts and more. |
| Event RSVP | One link for many guests. |
| More | Your visitor list, quotas and more. |
4. Getting through the gate
- By car: the gate camera reads your registered plate and lifts the barrier by itself. Nothing to show.
- On foot / by motorcycle: open the QR Code tab and scan it at the gate reader. Turn your screen brightness up first.
No internet? Your QR code still works offline, because the gate checks it locally.
Never share your QR code. Anyone who has its number can get in. For visitors, always create a visitor pass.
5. Inviting visitors
Home › Pre-Register Visitor, in 5 steps:
- How to invite: I'll fill in their details, or Let the visitor fill it in (they receive a link and fill in their details on their own phone).
- Who: the visitor's full name and phone number.
- Vehicle: the number plate (the camera lifts the barrier by itself), or choose on foot. Motorcycle plates are not read by the camera, so visitors on a motorcycle use a QR code.
- When: date, time and validity: One time only, All day (until midnight) or Repeats weekly.
- Review & send, then tap Generate pass & send.
Sending the pass to your visitor
On the pass page, tap Send via WhatsApp. WhatsApp opens on your phone with the message already written. Send it to your visitor.
- A "One time only" pass is valid for a few hours from the visit time. The review screen shows exactly how long.
- There are daily and monthly pass limits. If you run out, tap Request Extra Quota. Quotas reset at 00:00.
- See every pass in the Visitor list, including recurring visitors, whom you can pause and resume.
Unpaid bills: management may block new visitor passes and facility bookings. Your own access to your home is never blocked.
6. Events and kenduri
Home › Event RSVP: create one link for an event, for example 40–100 guests in one afternoon. Share the link in a WhatsApp group. Each guest registers and receives their own pass.
7. Visitors without an invitation (walk-ins)
A visitor who arrives without a pass registers on the gate tablet. You receive an approval request in the app, or a link on WhatsApp. Tap Allow to open the gate, or Deny.
8. SOS emergency
- Tap SOS Emergency on the Home screen.
- Management, nearby residents and the community's emergency line (if it has one) are alerted with your unit's location.
- Pressed it by accident? Tap Cancel alert within 5 minutes.
A real emergency: for anything life-threatening, call 999 as well.
9. Bills, facilities & complaints
- Bills & Payment: see your bills and pay online. Payments go straight into your JMB/MC's bank account.
- Facility Booking: choose a facility, a date and a slot, then book.
- Complaints & Suggestions: describe the problem and attach a photo if it helps. Follow its progress in the app.
- Latest Notices: every announcement from management. The newest ones also appear under ANNOUNCEMENTS on the Home screen.
10. Profile, household & vehicles
The Profile tab:
- Household: add family members. Tap Send via WhatsApp to send each one an invitation from your own WhatsApp. Every member gets their own code.
- Cars / Motorcycles: register plates for automatic entry. How many depends on your unit's limit.
- Deliveries: delivery and parcel-room settings.
- Language: English or Bahasa Melayu.
- Emergency: your emergency contact.
- Security: change your password and see which devices are signed in.
- Guide: this guide.
11. Password & security
- Forgot your password: on the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password, confirm with an OTP, then set a new password.
- After 5 wrong passwords, the account is locked for 15 minutes.
- Never share your password, OTP codes or QR code with anyone, including someone who says they are from management.
12. Your data and privacy
- MyKad images are never stored. Only your name and the last 4 digits.
- Visitor face photos are kept for 30 days. Entry and exit logs are kept for 7 years.
- If the privacy notice changes, the app asks for your consent again.
- To ask for a copy, a correction or deletion of your data, contact your community management.
